This time I want to document my trip to Faaker See on the 30th of July 2023. I did it alone using public transport, the bus.
I started the trip by walking from home to the nearest bus shelter. First, I took bus number 4 in the direction to the main bus station. I stopped at the Interspar bus shelter then I crossed the road to the other Insterspar bus shelter.
From the Interspar bus shelter, I took bus number 5194. This bus will head to Faaker See. It took about 24 minutes to get to Faaker See. I got out of the but at Neuegg/Faaker See Seeuferstraße bus shelter. From there I continued to walk for about 5 minutes to the entrance point of Taborhöhe.
There is a sign plate on the street showing the direction to Taborhöhe. I followed the sign and after walking for 3 minutes there was another sign plate showing the direction to Taborhöhe. Soon I started walking uphill for 15 minutes. Just right before the holiday house, there was a small path that led to the Taborhöhe via a hiking trail.
Make sure to follow the navigation from the Komoot app otherwise, we will end up in a parking spot to Taborhöhe which is not interesting. After following the navigation from the Komoot app, we will start the hiking activity to Taborhöhe.
After reaching the first destination which is the Tabohöhe, I continued the trip to the Wauberg. After getting out of the Taborhöhe forest I started to walk on the asphalt path for about 1,5 km following the navigation from the Komoot app.
After that, I entered another forest that leads to the Wauberg. It took about twenty minutes to reach the next destination which is Wauberg.
